8th February 2019
CDU Newsletter 605
There is certainly a busy racing schedule coming up.
This Sunday 10th February is the Canning Race, next Sunday 17th February is the Rod Fry Race, the following Sunday 24th is a Sprint Regatta, the following Sunday 3rd March is the City Lights Race, the following Wednesday-Sunday 6th-10th March is the Australian Sprint
Championships, the following Sunday 17th March it is the WA Marathon Championships and then I think there is a free Sunday from racing.
So if you go in everything there are
No free Sundays until the 24th March.
Take note: - you are never too old to start racing.
It is beneficial to your health to get that heart pumping and those muscles straining.
And the enjoyment you get from racing is enormous.
The Progressive Racing Group
15 out of the 17 paddlers from the Progressive Racing Group who took part in the Saturday Morning Sandy Beach race had never raced 3.1km until 2 weeks ago. On Saturday morning several of those members joined the 48 Saturday morning regulars and had their own 3.1km race at the same time as the 4km race was taking
part.

Don't miss out.
