Do have a very happy Christmas and be careful not to have too much of a very Merry New Year.

It was another busy week end of paddling. Although I didn't get to race the Mandurah Channels, I helped instead. (I will begin my racing career after Christmas.) It appeared from the reaction of paddlers that it was a great race. Doug put in a lot of effort to make sure no-one got lost with maps and the Mandurah Over 55 Club Members sitting in their kayaks at every turn to direct paddlers.

It's going to be an exciting build up to both the 2019 Australian Sprint and Marathon Championships which are being held it Perth.

Get into the Spirit and Give them a go.

Bettong Kayak

Who got this very nice Christmas Present?

He was very happy with his new Bettong kayak. (Grafton Paddle Sports).

He now has a great boat to paddle for the Australian Marathon Championships.

With a lot of locals getting behind the Championships it's going to be a fantastic event.
