There were several events this last weekend, with a Marathon Race, a Sprint Regatta, a Slalom event at Collie and a war dance at Sandy Beach. Then you had the DownWind guys out on the ocean and other paddlers doing social trips so it's been a busy week.

Fireworks at Garvey Park
from our balcony
Belmont Shire put on the fireworks last Friday night at Garvey Park.
It was good viewing from our balcony.
Nikki our greyhound didn't like the loud bangs so she scarpered into the walk-in-robe.
The fireworks went on longer than I would have thought for a local show.
There was a cold chill in the air but we couldn't not watch.
