In two days time my shop will be closed and I feel as if
I am losing part of me but I'm sure I will get used to working
less.

Although I will still be selling some kayaks, skis and some
gear it won't be the same when I close the shop on Saturday.
Gone will be the daily interaction with our customers.

After the 14th of May I can be contacted on
0472 720 243. My email address
will continue to be terry@canoeingdownunder.com.au. My website
will still be www.canoeingdownunder.com.au

Don't forget we are having
drinks and nibbles this Friday at the shop after 5.30pm to
say thank you to our customers and paddling friends. It would
be great to see you there.

Fifty five paddlers took part in our Saturday morning race
last week and about 70 people turned up for the bbq afterwards
which we really appreciated. It's not easy to decide to close
the shop doors and stop our Saturday morning training session
after nearly twenty years. Although I still intend to be around
and joining in with the different training sessions and races
it was very emotional for me to say my goodbyes as an organiser.
It might sound cheesy but I looked forward to the Saturday
morning training and the interaction with all the paddlers.
I couldn't have wished for a better bunch of people to paddle
with.

This Saturday is our final week in organising the training
session so it would be great to see you there. Bring your
fastest boat. The $5.00 training fee will go to Sandy Robson.

The training session after this week will still take part
with some of the group taking the helm.

We still have several bargains in store so let your friends
and relatives know. I need to move more of my stock as I don't
have enough room to store them all when I move.

It's a pity these two
